Fibonacci Sequence

Our season-opening ensemble is the Fibonacci Sequence, hugely popular with T3A. Founded in 1994 by Kathron Sturrock, the Fibonacci is well established as one of the foremost chamber ensembles in Britain.

Their programme is Dvorák’s Slavonic Dance No.8, local composer Russell Pascoe’s Keskan IV for solo violin, Mozart’s Trio in B flat K.502, Cecilia McDowall’s Street Café (premièred by the Fibonacci in 2002), Glinka’s Trio Pathétique, and Martinů’s jazz ballet La Revue de Cuisine.
