Roman graduated from the Prague Conservatory and continued his studies abroad. In 2007 he was a prize winner at the International Violin Competition in Pamplona. He has played concertos with major symphony orchestras such as Hamburg and Prague. Roman has recorded works for the BBC and has made a CD of works by Beethoven, Suk and Dvorak. Tatiana Aleksandrova is Russian and now based in Salzburg. She is a graduate of of the Salzburg Mozarteum and is well known as a chamber musician and soloist. The duo's exciting programme is wide ranging from Schnittke, through Scriabin and via Debussy to finish with Saraste's virtuosic “Carmen”.
